The ARCE Arizona chapter is part of the University of Arizona system. Those interested in hearing updates on the work of the University of Arizona Egyptian Expedition (UAEE) and in attending public lectures on Egypt topics in the Arizona area may wish to contact the Arizona Chapter of the American Research Center in Egypt, the national Egyptological association of the United States.
Since 1989, the Arizona Chapter has sponsored approximately 100 lectures and activities throughout the state. Additionally, the Arizona Chapter hosted the 2004 ARCE annual meeting in Tucson, and has hosted several tours to visit Egypts ancient monuments and cultures.

The International Council of Museums, in an effort to fight against illicit traffic in cultural goods, compiles the Emergency Red List of Egyptian Cultural Objects at Risk. This list aims to help art and heritage professionals and law enforcement officials identify Egyptian objects that are protected by national and international legislations.
