ARCE
national chapters are based in cities thoughout the United States
with particular strengths in fields related to the study of
Egypt and the Near East, by virtue of their museums, universities,
and research institutions. Drawing on this expertise, ARCE chapters
host lectures, conduct symposia, sponsor book-discussion groups,
show films from and about Egypt unavailable through conventional
distribution channels, sponsor tours of exhibitions at local
and neighboring museums, and conduct much-needed fundraising
programs for excavations in Egypt.
The following chapters have
lectures scheduled for the upcoming months. Dates, topics, and
venues are in some instances provisional; updates will be posted
here as soon as they are available.
