Description: This 90-minute documentary highlights the design and sailing of the ship Min of the Desert,designed by nautical archaeologist Cheryl Ward (based partly on finds of ship timbers and joints discovered at the site of Wadi/Mersa Gawasis currently being excavated by Professors Kathryn Bard of Boston University and Rodolfo Fattovich of the University of Naples "l'Orientale", and successfully sailed on the Red Sea for a week last winter.
