Description: This lecture will review the Talatat Project of the American Research Center in Egypt. During the past several years, Akhenaten’s famous talatats, once stored in a building near the Khonsu Temple, have been removed, cleaned, photographed and analyzed. Computer analysis of these data may permit additional scenes to be reconstructed. A history of the material will be followed by a discussion of the project's goals and methodology.
