Description:
Attendees arriving early for ARCE's Annual Meeting are invited by the Northern California Chapter to enjoy a day trip to this interesting museum.
Highlights of the collection at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum include some very unusual Middle Kingdom coffins, a rare mummy with an unusual post-mortem medical implant, and results from some CAT-scanned mummies in the collection. A replica of a Beni Hassan style tomb is also available for touring. Many small Amarna period objects are on display and a large model of the Step Pyramid at Sakkara is available for a 360 degree walkaround.
