DAY TRIP: Walters Art Museum

Details: The trip will include short presentations on "The History of the Egyptian Collection of the Walters Art Museum" by Dr. Christianne Henry, "The Royal Scribe and General of the Army, Haremhab" by Dr. Matthias Seidel, and a discussion of the authenticity of ancient objects by Dr. Regine Schulz. In addition, we will tour the pharaonic, Coptic, and Islamic collections of the Walters Art Museum.

We encourage all members to bring their beverage of choice for the bus ride. ARCE-PA will provide light snacks and water. Lunch and dinner will be on your own in the area around the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. Those attending the trip will be provided with an informational packet which will include places to eat in the area. A raffle will also be conducted on the bus.
