EXCURSION: Trip to Luxor, Abydos and Hierakonpolis Find us

Come and join a unique trip to Luxor, Abydos and Hierakonpolis with ARCE, led by Egyptologist Dr. Randa Baligh. In four days we will explore the work of some foreign missions working in those sites.
We will fly to Luxor on March 6 at 11:20am. We will visit Karnak Temple and have a special visit to ARCE's newly built conservation lab with Mr. Fraser Parsons and see ARCE conservation project inside Khonsu Temple.
We will spend the day of March 7 at Abydos visiting the temple of Seti 1st and the PENN/YALE/IFA expedition directed by Dr. Mathew Adams.
On March 8, a visit to the West Bank will include the temple of Amenhotep III and the newly opened tomb of Ramses VI at the Valley of the Kings where ARCE restored the granite sarcophagus.
On March 9, we will spend the day touring the site of Hierakonpolis with Dr. Renee Freidman, the expedition's director.

A round-trip Cairo-Luxor-Cairo airline ticket is LE1100 (subject to change).
