SCA issuances

ARCE was established to support archaeological work in Egypt; while its activities have expanded over the years to encompass other forms of scholarly research, archaeology remains a primary area of focus of ARCE's member institutions.

Expeditions often involve large teams of researchers, necessitating complex logistics in moving and housing personnel and equipment. The Cairo Center bears primary responsibility for maintaining expedition permits and concessions and for support operations in moving member institutions' expeditions in and out of the country.
