ARCE is a membership organization, composed of both individual and institutional members. The Center’s institutional members constitute virtually all the major North American organizations with research interests in Egypt.

By their annual dues and contributions to ARCE, member institutions provide major support for the Center's operations and its programs in Egypt and the United States. ARCE, through its Cairo and US offices, provides support for the work that its member institutions, and individuals affiliated with these institutions, undertake in Egypt.
