Students were selected by means of an interview panel comprising ARCE staff and Egyptian representatives of the Ministry of State for Antiquities.  Each of the candidates selected for the school had received prior training in ARCE’s Basic Conservation Field School. Over the course of the season, students received supervised, hands-on training in Khonsu Temple’s chapel 7 and its main courtyard. Training was also offered in Luxor Temple’s Ramesses II courtyard.
