ARCE is in the process of compiling
a seachable, web-accessible directory of its members. Enrollment
in the directory will be entirely voluntary, and individuals
may elect to have their listings amended or removed at any time.
The directory, searchable by name,
city, region or country, educational institution, or areas of
specialization or interest, is intended as a means of facilitating
communication among ARCE members. We are hopeful as well that
it will serve as resource for putting ARCE members in contact
with forums that seek to draw on their considerable expertise—museums,
research institutions, the press, and groups or institutions
that sponsor lectures or symposia.
In conjunction with the
directory, we are developing a form that individuals can fill
out and submit through the internet. Individuals who have already
received and filled out a hard-copy form will not need to resubmit
the information.
