ARCE Members' Research Featured in UK's Independent
Research by ARCE members Salima Ikram, Nathaniel Dominy and Gillian Leigh Moritz was recently featured in the UK's Independent newspaper. The team analyzed baboon mummies from the British Museum to reveal the long-disputed location of "Punt," a land of exotic riches often referred to by the ancient Egyptians. The location, determined by the team to be between Ethiopia and Eritrea, was first announced on April 23 during ARCE's 61st Annual Meeting in Oakland, California.
