A reception honoring ARCE's new book, "Preserving Egypt's Heritage: Conservation Work by the American Research Center in Egypt 1995-2005," was hosted by The Hon. Margaret Scobey, the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt, on February 10.

The visually rich and scholarly retrospective volume records the important first decade of collaboration between ARCE, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) in preserving treasures of Egypt's cultural heritage. Its release is forthcoming in March 2010.
