The Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt (JARCE) was established in 1962 to foster scholarly research into the art, archaeology, languages, history, and social systems of the Egyptian people. The journal (ISSN 0065-9991), an annual that has articles in English, French, or German, is published for ARCE by Eisenbrauns, Inc.
The interim editor of the journal is Egyptologist and ARCE Librarian Charles (Chuck) Cornell Van Siclen III.
After a long delay, the issues for 2004-2006 (volumes 41-43) are currently in preparation or production. JARCE is now accepting articles for the 2007 issue (volume 44). It is planned that this issue will close by 30 June 2007 and appear by the end of 2007.
Manuscripts in electronic form should be sent to chuck.vansiclen@gmail.com. For additional information on submissions, see “Guidelines for authors” below. Hard copies of manuscripts and/or CDs should be sent to the ARCE Business Office:
American Research Center in Egypt, 8700 Crownhill Blvd., Suite 507, San Antonio, TX 78209-1130.
Publications for review should also be sent directly to the ARCE Business Office.
