ARCE Member Tour to Egypt

Visit the best of Egypt's Pharaonic, Islamic, Coptic and Jewish sites.

ARCE is leading an exclusive tour to Egypt for its members, from October 20-November 4, 2019. A pre-set itinerary has been co-designed with leading tour agency, Egitalloyd Travel, featuring the best of Egypt's historic sites, previous ARCE projects, and direct access to 'movers and shakers' in the fields of Egyptology, Archaeology and Egyptian cultural heritage. The trip will be led by Executive Director, Dr. Louise Bertini.

Participants will visit the Giza Plateau and the Conservation Lab of the Grand Egyptian Museum, explore the streets and markets of Historic Cairo, sail from Luxor to Aswan, and experience the awe-inducing grandeur of Egypt's monumental tombs, churches, mosques and more! Guest lectures will feature leading scholars and professionals, including Zahi HawassMark LehnerRay Johnson and others.
